ParaVista – HTML5 Document Viewer

Paragon Systems’ ParaVista application is a powerful HTML5 Document Viewer and control. Paragon’s entire suite of capture products utilizes ParaVista as the document viewing component. It is a RESTful web service that uses REST APIs for integration with other applications.

ParaVista HTML5 Document Viewer comes standard “out of the box” with many features such as; a comprehensive set of annotation tools, document faxing, document email, document scanning, document OCR, and document e-Sign. ParaVistas also has an optional software development kit (SDK) that includes a complete set of APIs. The document viewer SDK allows the viewer to be seamlessly integrated with other applications. The document viewing functions can be turned on and off according to application requirements or user roles.

ParaVista HTML5 Document Viewer supports viewing documents in many different formats. Some of the supported formats are; SVG, PDF, TIF, PNG, JPG, RTF, HTML, XML, and OFFICE formats just to name a few. ParaVista can be used as a client application or on a network in a server environment. A user can switch between saving documents locally or to the server. This feature is particularly useful when there is no internet access. The application can be used locally and when an internet connection can be re-established the locally stored documents will automatically synchronize with the server.
