eFileManager is a workflow content management facility. (see video).
eFileManager was developed by Paragon to manage the workflow within our applications. Prior to building eFileManager we used methods like most companies that need to manage transactions in transaction-based systems. Transactions in process had traditionally been managed using a set of folders but we now use an electronic filing system to store and manage items in workflow. It is fast, flexible, and far more efficient than a folder-based workflow system. This in combination with our TaskMaster application avoids the common folder polling method many applications use. A folder-based system wastes system resources and time as the system constantly polls folders for items in the workflow.
