The merger required that uniform business practices be established and put in place for issues that needed to be addressed was protecting the personal identifiable information(PCI) of AAA’s customers. A selection process for automated redaction software was ensued and AAA selected system integrator ParagonSystems together with their “OmniShield” redaction software to create a solution forAAA‘s business need.
With a customer base of a half million customers this Cambridge Massachusetts health insurer receives on average 4,000 claims a day and processes more than 1.5 million claims a year. They are the largest provider of health insurance benefits to students in the United States.
